What roles could you serve in?

Pro-Presenter (Slides & Lyrics)
  • This is one of the easiest ways to jump into the tech team! You’ll click through slides for worship lyrics, sermon notes, and videos during the service. If you can use a computer and follow along with what's happening on stage, you're good to go.
  • What you’ll do:
    • Click through slides at the right time
    • Help the congregation follow along with worship and the message
  • Sound Board
    • This one is a more intensive role and training process, and general music knowledge will be helpful. You’ll help make sure the music and speaking sound clear and balanced, and this will have you working more directly the band and pastors than other roles. If you like music or enjoy working behind the scenes, this is a great spot.
    • What you'll do:
      • Adjust volume levels for mics and instruments
      • Make sure things sound good in the room (and/or online)
      • Fix simple sound issues if they pop up (and we’ll help you learn how)
  • Cameras
    • Running a camera is super straightforward. You’ll get to be part of the action by filming the service. It’s a fun, hands-on role, and we’ll show you exactly what to do. (In the Sanctuary, the cameras are controlled by one person remotely. In Hope Hall, two people are required to point and focus the cameras manually)
    • What you'll do:
      • Operate a camera during the service
      • Follow simple directions to get the best shots
      • Help make the livestream or screens look great
  • Switcher (Video Director)
    • This is like the “control center” for what people see on the screens or livestream. You’ll pick which camera or media feed goes live. It sounds fancy, but it’s really just pushing a few buttons with good timing—and we walk you through it.
    • What you'll do:
      • Switch between camera angles and slides during the service
      • Help keep everything flowing smoothly
      • Coordinate with the camera and slide team
